WH Photo Cards

Use the WH Photo Card set to build language skills including answering WH questions. WH questions are important for comprehension because they help extract key details from a text or conversation, allowing for a deeper understanding of the main points being communicated.  Each 4” x 6” card features a brilliant photo on the front with a 2-3 sentence short story on the back. Below the short story are five expressive and five receptive Who, What, When, Where and Why questions. The receptive questions prompt a student to share the information they just heard. The expressive questions prompt students to answer questions based on what they see in the picture.
